Best of 2009: October - December

The last day of the year and the last quarter of Best of 2009 (part l, part ll, part lll).

Boyfriend and I went away in October. We spent a long weekend at the beach. We were almost always alone (not many people go to the beach when it's cold) and it was beautiful.

The depression that had been tormenting me all fall took over in November. There were good days and good moments but mostly there were not.

The semester from hell ended in December. I started the holidays in Richmond, with Boyriend and family, then finished in South Carolina with my family. By the end of the month (I arrived last night actually), I'll be back in Richmond ready to swing in the New Years!

Best of 2009: July - September

Two more days until the New Year! Welcome to the second half of my Best of 2009 countdown (part l, part ll).

I spent a lot of my July weekends traveling. I spent a few days with Boyfriend's family in a little house in Monteray, VA. I took a lovely train ride down to Norfolk, VA to visit my Beloverly. When I wasn't traveling I worked and slept and ate and enjoyed the summer.

We went back to school at the end of August. That first weekend I could feel a larger group of friends solidifying. My premonition (or whatever) came true; these were the kids we hung with all semester.

Oh, September. I loved September. There was a birthday party, mafia night, hiking, and a 90s Dance/Mustache party (a roaring success)! I would love to relive this month.

Best of 2009: April - June

This is the Best of 2009 continued (here's part l).

Halfway through April I started this blog. Seven days later, in the above cemetary, I told Boyfriend I loved him; which is kind of perfect if you know us. Two seconds later he told me he loved me.

On the last day of May I turned 20.

I spent much of June falling more and more in love. But more importantly, sorry Boyfriend, I wrote my first poem in four years. It was a love poem.

Best of 2009: January - March

Inspired by CJane Enjoy It, I am looking back at 2009 through the millions of photos I took. 2009 was a very interesting year for me. The first half was the best of the best, while the second half was a test of endurance. Still, I loved this year!

January was a busy, amazing month for me! I took my first solo train ride (to Richmond) where I went camping and adventing with Boyfriend (before he was Boyfriend). Also in this chilly month, Boyfriend became Boyfriend (January 20th).

I have had two groups of friends in college. The first was my freshman year and most of the group graduated or transfered. I felt the second group solidify in February of my spring semester. It centered on these two goofballs (Spencer and Boyfriend).

I don't remember much of March, not much stood out. It was a quiet, calm month of happy days and exciting nights. I think I went geocaching for the first time as the weather warmed up. I loved March.
